Mi-jung Jang studies principally on the East Asian influence in modern British and American poetry. She also has a research interest in the development of English poetics and the construction of British and American modern culture. She received a Ph. D. with a thesis entitled as Confucianism and the Construction of the Idea of Order in Ezra Pound’s Cantos: A Reading of Rock-Drill and Thrones. Her most recent publication is “Modern Anglo-American Poetry and the East Asian Tradition, a Review on Researrch Trends” (In/Outside, no. 48, 2020).
