19세기 후반부터 동시대에 이르는 영미권 드라마를 연구하고 가르치고 있으며, 주로 인종과 젠더의 재현과 비판적 공연 전략에 관심을 갖고 있다. 최근 논문으로 「아퐁 모이와 마주보다: 『중국 귀부인』을 통해 보는 아시아 여성 주체와 새로운 관객성」 (『미국학』 45.2 2022),  “Freedom in the Marketplace: Staging Defector Narratives in You for Me for you and Sister Mokrahn” (Theatre Journal 72.2, 2020)가 있으며, 참여 저서로 Milestones in Asian American Theatre: History and Performance (Routledge, 2022), Routledge Anthology of Women’s Theatre Theory and Dramatic Criticism (Routledge, 2023) 등이 있다.
